This result, which is underpinned by verbal evidence and has been notified to the Administration by the Certifier, ranks Lechler S.p.A. among the leading companies that have switched to new Certification systems. The strong point has been the transition to the Risk Management evaluation in Lechler’s operating frameworks.

As specified in the introduction to standard ISO 9001:2015, “The use of a quality system is a strategic decision that helps the organisation to improve its performance and constitutes a solid base for sustainable development initiatives.”

Sustainability has a central value in the regulation, which praises the concept of “Responsible Quality”, namely the effort made by a company for the community and which can only improve customer satisfaction. This principle is underpinned by “Risk Based Thinking” as a common denominator of the integration of management systems.

To achieve this outcome, the regulation also required substantial amendments to the organisational framework, such as strengthening the concept of ‘ongoing improvement’ by aligning the standard with the goals of the organisation and directly involving the Top Management in the Management System. This is implemented through rapid motivation of staff regarding the common goals.
