BIKETOWORK: sure it's impossible?

BIKETOWORK: sure it's impossible?

Author: Gianni Foietta/Monday, March 4, 2024/Categories: Ess&re

If you live far away, you could use a bike to get to the train station.
If you live close but don't want to travel on busy roads, you might have an alternative route available, perhaps a bike path through the woods.
If you live close but there's a hill (and you're not fit enough), you might consider getting an assisted pedaling bike. If we haven't convinced you, no worries! But if we've managed to instill even a small doubt, these tips might interest you:

Explore alternative routes. Services like Strava, Komoot, and Google suggest cycling routes, even off-road ones, that are quieter and more enjoyable.
Gear up properly. Thermal and waterproof clothing, gloves, helmet, and high-visibility vest, to always ride dry, warm, and safe.
Take care of your bike. Are the brakes working? Are the tires worn out? Do you have working rear and front lights, a bell, and reflectors on wheels and pedals? These are important precautions for your safety.
Be very careful. As much as you might avoid the busiest roads, you will always have to spend part of your journey in traffic: always respect the traffic laws, go slow, and try to stay out of trouble!

Biketowork improves your life.
