Eurobike 2025: Lechler's debut among innovation, sustainability and new connections

Author: Gianni Foietta/Wednesday, July 9, 2025/Categories: Industry, Lechler 4 Sport

Our first participation in Eurobike was a great success, confirming the importance of being present in a constantly evolving sector, where coating plays an increasingly central role between aesthetics, performance and sustainability.

Eurobike is the world's leading trade fair dedicated to bicycles and sustainable mobility. The 2025 edition, held in Frankfurt across six thematic halls, hosted over 1,500 exhibitors and 65,000 visitors, equally divided between industry professionals and enthusiasts. The event is undergoing strong global growth, with a significant increase in companies from Asia, Europe and North America, and new exhibition areas such as gravel bikes and bikepacking.
Special attention was given to innovation, with over 200 start-ups presenting concept bikes, e-mobility solutions and advanced technological components. This trend confirms Eurobike as a top showcase for the future of mobility.

During the fair, the importance of coating in the design and enhancement of bicycles emerged strongly. Finishes today are not only an aesthetic element, but also affect weight, durability, brand identity and environmental impact.
Emerging trends included:

  • Increasingly personalized aesthetics and branding, with “raw” or transparent finishes on carbon fiber to highlight the material and reduce coating weight.
  • Lightweight and high-performance solutions for the racing sector, with treatments that reduce weight and increase resistance.
  • Advanced customization on top-of-the-range models, with special finishes and effects such as iridescent, glitter or chameleon.

This first participation represented a concrete opportunity for Lechler to engage with a dynamic and fast-changing ecosystem where design, technology and sustainability converge. We established valuable contacts, closely observed manufacturers’ needs, and laid the foundation for future collaborations in the bike world.
We returned from Frankfurt full of enthusiasm, creative inspiration and a clear message: today more than ever, colour means mobility, identity, innovation.
