The Sonnenwagen Aachen Team, in collaboration with Lechler and Covestro, achieved a historic performance at the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2025, finishing fourth among 37 teams from 18 countries.

From pole to endurance
The Covestro Æthon prototype also secured pole position during the qualifiers in Darwin, setting a new record for the Sonnenwagen Team with a time of 1:52.50.

The team’s words
