The new GreenItaly Report by Fondazione Symbola, marking ten years since COP21, captures the state of Italy’s green transition, highlighting how sustainability has now become a key competitiveness factor for companies and supply chains.
Among the more than 200 case studies selected in the report, Lechler has also been recognized in the section dedicated to bio-based chemistry — an increasingly central area for reducing environmental impact in the wood-furniture, construction, and industrial sectors.
The report highlights our ESS&RE product line, developed with a sustainability-oriented approach:
Lechler offers coatings with over 50% bio-based raw materials, such as Framaton Ess&re Comfortline, and products like CLEAR ESS&RE SOFT MATT and SOFT VELVET, which are tin-free and paired with hardeners and thinners containing at least 25% bio-based content. The report also highlights the Isofan Marine SKY Clear UHS marine clearcoat (up to 44% bio-based) and the Laqua HP Ess&re Biobased water-based acrylic enamel, formulated with resins from renewable sources and free of hazardous substances.
Being featured in GreenItaly 2025 represents an important acknowledgement of our commitment to developing sustainable, high-performance, and safe products, contributing to the ecological transition of supply chains with low-impact, high-value solutions.
